Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this
position.

This temporary part-time position is to support high tempo operations at the Test Site during late Spring through early Fall. Start date will be discussed based on applicant’s availability. The position may be extended as needed into the Fall of 2024 at the discretion of the Test Site and the employee.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing high quality customer service to clients and partners of the Test Site by providing service and support to the client’s flight operations and the crews operating in the field. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational paperwork. 
  • Assist in ensuring required crewmembers are scheduled, trained, current, and qualified for the missions tasked. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of classified information and a professional appearance and attitude. 
  • Work will require frequent travel. 
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned. - (Essential)

  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of clients.
  • Proven ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness and ability to travel, as required
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of criminal history records check
  • Export Control Compliance: This position requires compliance with U.S. government export control laws and regulations. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Person” (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b (a)(3)).

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess an FAA Private Pilot License and/or FAA Remote Pilot License
  • Experience with Part 107 operations
  •  Experience with Remote Control (RC) aircraft.
  • Good technical writing skills
