Purpose of Position

This is a part time laboratory assistant position responsible for supporting the teaching mission of the UND SMHS Department of Occupational Therapy. The hiree for this position is responsible for supporting effective learning experiences for students with diverse interests, abilities and expectations within the OT 543 laboratory setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting instructors during lab sessions 
  • Assisting with set up review quizzes and leading review sessions 
  • Assist with exam set up and proctor examinations 

Required Competencies

  • Knowledge to properly teach OT 543, Movement and Occupational Performance, labs
  • Work independently and as a team
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and follow directives
  • Withstand periods of lifting, pulling, and tugging without restrictions

Minimum Requirements

  • Coursework in human anatomy beyond undergraduate 400 level.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
