Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students who have accepted a Federal Work Study (FWS) Financial Aid Offer are eligible to be hired into this position. 

Work in a busy, customer-service centered environment where tasks are either public facing or assisting with making sure materials are available for our guests. Employees will be assigned to one of the two areas, notified when the job is offered. If you do not have the qualifications, but are willing to learn, we are thrilled to teach you!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Shelving materials
  • Stack maintenance 
  • Deliveries to other areas on campus 
  • Answer wayfinding questions and assist in basic reference support
  • Computer/ technology support
  • Answering phones 
  • Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled 
  • Other projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
  • Must have an accepted Federal Work Study award from the Office of Student Finance
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
