Purpose of Position

Teach TL 316 Behavioral Assessment and Tiered Supports in Education

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teach TL 316 Behavioral Assessment and Tiered Supports in Education 

Required Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to teach, inspire, and mentor students
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students
  • Competent in using technology and able to adopt new tools for online course delivery

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s in Special Education
  • Seven years of experience teaching Special Education
  • Two years teaching undergraduate special education college-level courses
  • Two years teaching online college-level courses
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Blackboard Ultra
  • Master's in SPED with focus on Elementary/Childhood
  • Master's in SPED with focus on High School
  • Experience with curriculum design as it relates to assessment strategies 
  • Experience with curriculum design is it relates to the IEP process
