Purpose of Position

The Office Assistant provides administrative support to the Pride Center.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for students and visitors by providing accurate and current information regarding the Pride Center and University related programs and services. 
  • Assist director with administrative tasks 
  • Provide support for Pride Center events and activities including helping promote and market events. - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 academic credits during the semester of employment
  • Accepted Federal Work Study Award 
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, i.e word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email, etc. 
  • Experience creating flyers, posters, and social media content.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
