Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Northern Plains UAS Test Site (NPUASTS) is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Intern to join our team and assist in leveraging content and social media communication skills. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in executing marketing campaigns across various digital platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include creating engaging content for our social media channels, developing, and scheduling posts, monitoring social media analytics, and assisting in the implementation of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement.

We're seeking individuals enthusiastic about bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives to champion the NPUASTS message. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating compelling content for social media channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement, including posts, graphics, and videos.
  • Assist in managing social media platforms by scheduling posts, monitoring comments, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize content strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement innovative campaigns to promote the NPUASTS message and initiatives. 
  • Provide administrative assistance as needed, such as organizing materials and coordinating meetings to ensure smooth operations within the marketing department. 
  • Assist in marketing efforts in preparation of job fairs, conferences, and special events. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of classified information and a professional appearance and attitude. 
  • Responsible for all other duties as assigned. - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Export Control Compliance: This position requires compliance with U.S. government export
    control laws and regulations. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under
    U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Person” (U.S.
    citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b (a)
    (3)).
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Express and other Adobe products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content
    for social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and platforms to schedule posts,
    monitor analytics, and manage online communications.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for design, with the ability to coordinate the develop visual
    appealing graphics and multimedia content.
