Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The intern will collaborate with the Experiential Learning team, campus partners, and employers to enhance program offerings and ensure a high-quality experience for all participants. The Experiential Learning Intern will play a key role in supporting the Shadow & Soar job shadowing program, as well as assisting with the development and expansion of new internship and co-op initiatives at the University of North Dakota.

  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree at UND. Students must be registered students at UND.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Experience: Previous internship or work experience in event planning, marketing, or program coordination is a plus; experience working with diverse groups of people in a professional or campus setting is preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and dependable; strong interpersonal skills and professionalism; interest in career development, experiential learning, or higher education; comfortable communicating via email, phone, and in person; ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
