Salary/Position Classification

  • 15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 20 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This position serves the goals and objectives of the Indians into Medicine program by strategically capturing, and utilizing historical and current data and information. This student worker will assist with high level office functionality in addition to optimizing and streamlining alumni contact information.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to appropriately utilize multi-modal communication platforms.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries correctly and in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to seek out information using various search engines.
  • Experience or familiarity with American Indian students and traditions.
  • Undergraduate level or higher current university student.
  • Understanding of database systems and standard office technology including Microsoft Suite.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree program is in a health science or related field.
  • Current or previous experience with American Indian populations
  • Current or previous experience with student programming or office function related to American Indian students.
