Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create lesson plans for children Kindergarten through 6th grade for the after-school program •
  • Prepare snack 
  • Clean facilities 
  • Plan activities for elementary students enrolled in program - (Essential)
  • Program take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00pm-5:30pm.

Required Competencies

• Knowledge of teaching and the subjects offered, including how students must meet the assessment criteria.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children
• Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection
• Having confidence, patience and understanding.

Minimum Requirements


• Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of student Finance.
• Successful competition of a criminal history background check
• Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
