Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Learn new scientific techniques, including protein assays, and immunoblotting. The data generated will be included in manuscripts.
  • Analyze data using ImageJ software for the grad students and postdocs.
  • Maintain equipment and perform many everyday maintenance and cleaning chores.
  • Assist in ordering and inventory for the Chen lab using UND Marketplace, the procurement system. - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Majoring in a STEM related field
  • Experience in a laboratory setting through work or education experience
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
