Purpose of Position

The Testing Services Assistant works part-time and is responsible for providing support and assistance to the Testing Services functions. The person in this position assists in the support and proctoring for all Prometric testing, Pearson Vue testing, and a number of other standardized testing companies. They also administer on-site accommodated exams. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Proctoring/monitoring candidates to ensure test security and confidentiality. 
  • Certification and continuing education for all testing companies. 
  • Troubleshooting issues 
  • Collect data, process rosters, phone calls 
  • Greeting candidates, answering questions, and giving directions 

Required Competencies

  • Ability to communicate positively and effectively
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues calmly

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in customer service
  • One year of experience working with computers/software, especially Microsoft Office Suite
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment.
