Salary/Position Classification

  • $25.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • up to 40 hours per week for the Summer 
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

Set up information technology infrastructure in robotics lab.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up file server
  • Set up a password manager
  • Deal with network issues on robotic systems
  • Create a lab webpage
  • Work with edge platforms on robotic systems, including UAVs and UGVs.

Required Competencies

  • Knowledgeable in Python, Java, C++
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic programming
  • Knowledge of computer hardware/software, network protocols, and the Linux operating system
  • Understanding of firewalls, routers and switches
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
