Salary/Position Classification

Purpose of Position

This on-campus position is a non-student temporary position

To support and advance research initiatives in the fields of computer networks, communication
systems, and cybersecurity through helping with innovative project development, and active contribution to ongoing research projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop manuscripts focused on computer networks, communication systems, and cybersecurity.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and develop new ideas for collaborations and research initiatives in the relevant areas. 
  • Assist in the preparation of research findings.

Required Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of computer networks, communication systems, and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Requirements

  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and programming languages.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
