Salary/Position Classification

  • 15.65 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10-29 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time non exempt position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains Dining room/assist with Service Areas cleaning and appearance
  • Insures and stocks clean napkins, flatware, glassware, salt and peppers, and table media
  • Cleans tabletops, chairs, booths, picks up trash, and vacuums carpet areas.
  • Spot clean glass and windows when required.
  • Cleans floors in the following areas: Kitchen, service areas, restrooms, storerooms, and dining rooms
  • Sweeps appropriate areas when needed
  • Stocks various inventory items in the kitchen, restrooms and dining rooms:  fills soap and towel dispensers
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers

Required Competencies

  • Able to stand on one's feet for 3 -4 hours
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen
  • Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings except for a plain wedding band while working in our facilities
  • Hairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areas

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of food service experience
