Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Administrative Officer with general administrative tasks, including organizing materials, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure efficient operations. 
  • Support the Deputy Executive Director in program and organizational leadership activities, including research, project management, and drafting communications or presentations. 
  • Participate in tasks that enhance organizational health, such as assisting in initiatives related to employee engagement, culture, and morale. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude. 
  • Collaborate with various team members to ensure tasks are completed effectively and align with NPUASTS goals. 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Attention to detail.
  • Handle multiple priorities in a busy office setting.
  • Customer service to a wide variety of clients.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Export Control Compliance: This position requires compliance with U.S. government export control laws and regulations. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Person” (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b (a)(3)).
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

  • o Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    o A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
    o Enthusiasm for learning about unmanned aircraft systems and organizational leadership
