Purpose of Position

The Athletics Operations Assistant provides part-time support for the daily and event operations of UND Athletics. The position assists Athletics Operations leadership with game management, facility preparation, event staffing, administrative duties, and other operational needs across multiple sports and facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation, setup, execution, and teardown of athletic events.
  • Support visiting teams, officials, coaches, staff, and event personnel.
  • Assist with facility, equipment, laundry, supply, and operational needs.
  • Help coordinate event staffing, schedules, communication, and documentation.
  • Provide administrative and project support to Athletics Operations leadership.
  • Serve in assigned gameday and operational roles. Perform other duties as assigned. - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in athletics, events, facilities, recreation, customer service, or a related environment.
  • Basic computer and communication skills.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in collegiate athletics, sports, event management, or facility operations.
  • Experience supporting athletic events or game-day operations.
  • Familiarity with multiple sports and athletic facilities.
  • Interest in athletics administration, sports management, facilities, or event operations.
  • Experience coordinating or supervising event staff.
