Purpose of Position

This temporary, part-time position will be responsible for updating the North Dakota Digital Atlas with oil production data. This is a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) project that requires expert knowledge of ArcGIS Pro software and spatial database management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the project principal investigator to update the ND Digital Atlas with oil production data.

Required Competencies

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Expert knowledge of ArcGIS Pro Software and spatial database management

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters in Geography
  • Extensive experience with ArcGIS Pro software
  • Extensive experience with spatial database management
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

  • Research experience involving geographical issues pertaining to North Dakota
