Purpose of Position

The Member Services Program Manager will assist in developing training materials and lead customer service training, Fusion training, and safety training of the Member Services Staff to include the Member Service Associates and Facility Managers. The Member Services Program Manager will assist with developing training materials and processes for the Outpost and serve as a direct contact for the Outpost.

This position is responsible for aiding in the development and administration of customer service and training of the Member Services Staff to include the Member Service Associates and Facility Managers. The Member Services Program Manager will assist with developing training materials for the Outpost and fulfilling other administrative duties as assigned. This position is considered a member of the Administrative group of the Wellness and Health Promotion team.

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and actively maintain team playbooks and trainings, which include policies, procedures, and team-specific requirements.
  • Implement and conduct regular team trainings.
  • Assist in the planning and leading of area specific meetings, continuous trainings, communication policies, processes, and updates for Member Services staff.
  • Assist in hiring, terminating, evaluating, of Member Services staff.
  • Assist in establishing employee development opportunities for Member Services staff.
  • Aid in the acquisition and inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Hold each team member accountable for his/her area responsibilities.
  • Meet with the Member Services Coordinator weekly.
  • Serve as an active member of the Program Manager team and attend regularly scheduled meetings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Computer skills to complete daily reports and other forms.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to cover all service areas.
  • Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
  • Ability to use and understand UND and Wellness Center communication devices to address building questions and issues.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED, or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire. (Training provided by the Wellness Center at no cost for employees)
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to supervise all aspects of a program, to work under pressure, and to work with outside individuals/groups.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a personable attitude.
  • Provide leadership during emergencies, disciplinary matters, and facility conflicts.
  • Ability to enforce all facility policies and procedures and employee policies and procedures.
  • Team Wellness employee in a Facility Manger role for at least six months.
