Salary/Position Classification

  • $2833.33 monthly
  • 10 hours per week
  • This position will work onsite the Grand Forks, ND campus.

Purpose of Position

The Middleton School of Entrepreneurship & Management is seeking a part-time Instructor for a three-month part-time contract. This position will teach one course, MGMT 501 Quantitative Analysis for Management Decisions (three credits).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teaching - one three-credit course Summer 2026, Mgmt 501

Required Competencies

  • The ability to teach, inspire, and engage a diverse student population.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students and external groups
  • Competence in using technology and ability to adopt new tools for online course delivery.
  • Collect and share data needed to support program assessment

Minimum Requirements

  • ABD or completed Ph.D./D.B.A. in Operations Management or related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Decision Sciences, Engineering, Quantitative Analysis).
  • Ability to gain faculty qualification status to teach course based on AACSB standards
  • Teaching experience in delivering a course in higher education
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and/or training others, either in higher education and/or in industry
  • Demonstrated practical experience with quantitative analysis in management decisions
