Salary/Position Classification

  • $17.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 5 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part time non-benefited position. Only currently employed UND flight instructors are eligible for this position. This position supports the Records department at UND Flight Operations. The Records department is responsible for student and employee flight training records and ensuring FAA and TSA requirements are met.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Staff the front desk in the Records department answering questions and assist with student and instructor tasks associated with flight records.
  • Assist with student record course clears. 
  • Assist with student FAA enrollment and TSA proof of citizenship processes. 
  • Assist with other areas deemed necessary by the Records department staff.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be currently employed as a flight instructor at UND Flight Operations.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of FAA pilot and instructor training requirements.
  • Knowledge of logbooks and AIMS flight records.
  • Must have a working knowledge of UND Flight Operations.
