Salary/Position Classification

Purpose of Position

The Documentation Assistant supports departmental operations by converting handwritten notes and draft materials into clear, well formatted digital documents. This position is responsible for typing, editing, and organizing content using provided templates. The student will work closely with staff to ensure documents are accurate, consistent, and ready for internal use or distribution.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with staff to ensure documents are accurate, consistent, and ready for internal use or distribution. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow formatting guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong typing and proofreading skills
  • Good typing skills.
  • Some experience with proofreading.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
