The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Director. SEECS is the largest and fastest-growing unit within the College of Engineering and Mines and includes undergraduate and graduate programs in electrical engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, and data science. This is primarily an administrative position with a focus on mentoring faculty, student recruiting and retention, program assessment, and outreach to alumni and industry partners. The next Director of SEECS must be passionate about education, committed to delivering the highest-quality programs possible to our on-campus and online students, and able to work effectively with faculty, students, and other stakeholders. Depending on the qualifications of the candidate, the position may be an associate or full professor rank with an offer of tenure, subject to approval by SEECS, the University, and the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education.
