Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the official UND Twitter page Tasks involved in fulfilling the above duties/responsibilities (include description for physical and mental/cognitive demands) Make Twitter posts before and after every featured match on our twitch stream, tournaments, playoff matches for any team, and any events on campus including but not limited to LAN tournaments, summer camps, recruitment events and social events. Respond to messages on twitter and direct people interested in the Esports Program to the Esports Head Coach and answer any other questions about the program. Create other messages to engage with the community on Twitter. - (Essential)
  • Manage and maintain the official UND YouTube channel Tasks involved in fulfilling the above duties/responsibilities (include description for physical and mental/cognitive demands) Post weekly videos of some of the following content:
    • 1. Montage videos of the best plays from each official league match.
    • 2. Game recaps: Post a shorter version of the matches played, showcasing the best plays, turning points and victories.
    • 3. Weekly recaps: Go through all games matches and post the victory or defeat with their current record. - (Essential)
  • Manage UND official Twitch channel Tasks involved in fulfilling the above duties/responsibilities (include description for physical and mental/cognitive demands) Make the Twitch channel professional, including updating the about/more info section to UND website and NDVE website. Make sure VODs are working and viewable by public. Work with twitch to get affiliation when given the opportunity. - (Essential)
  • Utilize skill and knowledge in graphic design to create stream overlays and other graphics posted to UND social media. Tasks involved in fulfilling the above duties/responsibilities (include description for physical and mental/cognitive demands) Create stream overlays and other graphics using approved software to make UND social media look more professional and engaging to viewers. - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to work on UND Campus
  • One year of experience running social media for another organization
  • Strong work ethic and time management
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience running social media for another organization, including one of those years being for a professional Esports organization
  • Experience in graphic design
  • Some knowledge in each of these titles: League of Legends, Valorant, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch 2, Call of Duty, Counter Strike 2 and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate
