Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting end users with computer issues
  • Troubleshooting systems, installs, cleaning
  • Documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in at least 1 credit for the employed academic semester
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication & customer service skills
  • Punctuality
  • Ability to install software

Preferred Qualifications

  • An understanding of computer functions such as hardware dependencies and components.
  • Operating system fluency, including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Basic understanding of how the internet and building networks function.
  • Experience with troubleshooting issues such as virus and malware removal, hardware compatibility, and driver troubleshooting.
  • Printer issues.
  • Hardware installation and upgrade.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
