Purpose of Position

Full time non-benefited temporary summer months position in Dr. Asthana's computational research lab.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing/testing quantum algorithms for applications in chemistry 
  • Write results in scientific publications under supervision
  • Communicate results in group meetings/conferences 

Required Competencies

  • Proficient in python programming
  • Strong background in linear algebra
  • Strong background in physics and physical chemistry concepts

Minimum Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Physics, Computer science or related fields
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
