      Salary/Position Classification

      • $16.00-$19.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
      • 10 hours per week
      • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
      • Hybrid Work Availability: No

      Purpose of Position

      This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position.

      Duties & Responsibilities

      • Preparation and delivery of study materials, quizzes, and exams
      • Grading Office hours – provide learning support for students
      • Online preparation/equipment set-up
      • Exam Proctoring if needed

      Minimum Requirements

      • TAs have to have completed ATSC 210, ATSC 240, and either PHYS 251, MATH 166, or ATSC 220
      • Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
      • Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check

      In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Other relevant experience in meteorology and/or teaching
