Salary/Position Classification

  • $89,000+ based on experience & credentials annual, Exempt
  • This position will work onsite the Grand Forks, ND campus.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Teaching in the areas of pediatrics, general physical therapy care, basic sciences, and other areas of departmental need.
  • Well-defined, ongoing scholarly agenda and dissemination.
  • Service to the department, school, university, and profession.
  • Advising graduate and undergraduate students.

Minimum Requirements

  • Academic doctorate or earned DPT with a commitment to pursue academic doctorate appropriate for teaching responsibilities and scholarly activity
  • Advanced training with contemporary expertise and clinical experience in pediatrics or neurology practice
  • Current PT license; eligible for ND PT license
  • 3 years clinical experience
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • An academic doctorate in a field appropriate for teaching responsibilities
  • A Board Certified Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties
  • Completion of an American Board of Physical Therapy residency and Fellowship Education (ABPT-RFE) program
  • Experience in clinical research or scholarly activity
  • Membership and involvement in professional associations
