Salary/Position Classification

  • $38,000+ Annual, Dependent on Experience, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 40 hours per week
  • This position will work onsite at UND Grand Forks, ND campus

Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Clinical Education with management of the clinical database programs and coordination of clinical education communications and agreements in an effective and timely manner. Maintain professional interactions with internal/external clinical contacts including clinical site coordinators, faculty, students, and technical contacts. Assist with the organization of clinical materials and documents. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support to the Director of the Sports Physical Therapy Residency and Faculty Residency programs. Maintenance of the department web site, assistance with data collection for accreditation and program reporting, and secretarial support for other faculty members and front office within the department as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • 50% - Manage departmental clinical education databases, records, and assist with coordinating communications with clinical contacts, students, faculty, and staff

  • 35% - Provide secretarial, clerical, and administration support to the Director of Clinical Education, Director of Sports PT Residency and PT Faculty Residency, and other faculty as needed

  • 10% - Provide technical training and support for clinical faculty and students in the use of clinical software

  • 5% - Departmental website coordinator

  • Prefer knowledge of North Dakota University System and University of North Dakota policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2 years of office or administrative work experience, preferably in an academic setting
  • 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience using office equipment, including laser printers, scanners, and photocopiers
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in administrative secretarial, business administration, office management, or related field
