Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position.

This position will be a part of a team within the Procurement & Payment Services Department (PPS). The primary functions of this position are assisting with the auditing of purchasing card transactions and statements, and other duties as needed. This position is a year-round position, including summer months.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • This position supports a hybrid schedule, which requires periodic in-office presence
  • Must be able to work year-round, including summer months
  • Perform auditing and imaging functions accurately and efficiently while adhering to procedures
  • Adhere to detailed instructions necessary for auditing transactions
  • Address issues with staff in a timely manner; work with Payment Services staff to identify and resolve issues
  • Communicate and work effectively with other departments as necessary for customer inquiry/problem resolution
  • Organize, prioritize and complete responsibilities in a timely manner with excellent attention to detail
  • Attendance must be punctual and reliable
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams)
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills (must provide a cover letter with application)
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous auditing experience
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Finance
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • 1 year of experience working in an office environment
