Salary/Position Classification

  • 13.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10-15 hours per week

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

The Nistler Student Engagement Office is seeking an Office Assistant. The person in this role will interact with students, faculty and staff and assist the academic advisors.
Must be available to work 10 -15 hours per week between the hours of 8 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Friday.
Preference to be available between 11:30am to 1:00pm most days.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Staff the front desk and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, faculty, employers, alumni and prospective students and their families 
  • Answer phone calls and schedule student appointments 
  • Collaborate with staff on projects and initiatives for the Academic Advising Staff 
  • Other duties as assigned - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled student in the UND Nistler College
  • Self-motivated and dependable; able to follow through on tasks with little supervision
  • Must able to work within the hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
