Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefitted position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired into this position.

This is the opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the success of the Division I Football Program at the University of North Dakota in the competitive Missouri Valley Football Conference. This role is designed to identify motivated, self-driven FWS students that want to be involved with UND’s Football Program.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assisting the recruiting coordinator on game day, unofficial visits, and official visits 
  • Retrieval and sorting of mail 
  • Filming practice and games 
  • Answering phones and communicating correspondence with UND Football Staff 
  • Practice set-up and break down on a daily basis 
  • Work with coaches during practice to help set-up and execute the drills 
  • Learn how to properly fit and maintain equipment such as helmets and shoulder pads 
  • Maintain an accurate inventory on a daily basis 
  • Locker room set-up for all home games 
  • Perform game day duties that will be specified by the DFO 
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning 
  • Ensure proper storage of equipment 
  • Other projects assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
  • Must have an accepted Federal Work Study award from the Office of Student Finance
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

  • Experience with office technology(copying machine, etc.)
